Is Body Corporate Services a licensed body corporate manager in Queensland?

Queensland does not require body corporate managers to hold a state licence or register publicly — unlike Victoria or NSW. Managers operating in QLD should hold a real estate agent's licence (if dealing with management rights) and are subject to the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 (BCCM Act). How can our committee change body corporate managers in QLD?

Under the BCCM Act, the body corporate committee can terminate the manager's contract subject to its terms (typically 30–90 days notice). For a Standard Module scheme, the body corporate can pass a resolution at a general meeting to appoint a new manager.
